I’m not crazy about coffee, so Starbucks during the Spring and Summer just doesn’t do it for me. But in the fall, when the holiday drinks come out, and Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate is on the menu, I’m all in.
So it’s awesome that my birthday is in the fall and that’s when I get my free birthday drink.
Speaking of, sign up for My Starbucks Rewards and register a Starbucks card. When it’s your birthday, a reward for a free drink or food item will be loaded to your card. Just order, swipe your card at checkout, and your order will be completely free.
Since you can get anything you want, I ordered a venti Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate. I usually get a small, but when it’s free, go big. Plus, I got it on my birthday-day, and I didn’t have birthday cake, so this made up for it.
