If you’re home, reading this, hurry to Harris Teeter.
We just got back from there and now Pete is stocking up the fridge with chicken. Right now, split chicken breast is only $1 a pound.
That’s amazing.
We usually buy boneless, skinless chicken breast, but for $1 a pound, it’s pretty impossible to say no, especially when we usually stock up on chicken for $1.47 a pound.
A dozen large eggs are $1 too [[reg. $1.99]]. You can usually find them for $1, but that hasn’t been the price in over six weeks, so I don’t expect them to go under $1 until at least Thanksgiving. So we picked up two boxes.
And quarts of milk are only $1 [[reg. $1.69]], so we picked up a couple of those too.
So, if you see this, run out because this ends when your stores close tonight [[unless you have a 24 hour store, then it ends at 6:59am]].
