Each week, Old Navy updates a site, called Old Navy Weekly, with various printable coupons. Last week there was one for $75 off a $100 or more purchase. Sounds like a ton of free clothes. There were other coupons too, like a $50/$100; 20% off any purchase; 5% off any purchase. The object of the game is to search around the site and find what the Internet calls “Easter eggs,” little hidden gems. If you find the right one, you’ll get a great coupon. You only get one coupon per week, so if you find the 5% off first, you can keep searching until you find something worth using printer ink on.
The rumor was that the Web site resets with new coupons every Thursday, but it’s a bit after midnight est, and I’ve seen no reset, making that a little iffy. There’s a scrolling banner at the top of the page that tells you how many of each coupon are left, so you’ll know if the big ones are gone or not. If all the little coupons are gone too, well, then the site didn’t reset and the rumors were just that: rumors.
